About Body Massage
A body massage can be carried out as a full body massage treatment, a full body massage minus the glutes, or you can just have a back, neck and shoulder massage.
During a consultation, you will be asked for your aims and outcomes and the nature of the massage will be agreed before it begins.
I will use just my hands, fingers and arms along with a massage medium. You can have a light, deep, or varied massage. The pressure used is down to what suits each customer – some areas are more sensitive to others and people have changing requirements. Please advise me about the amount of pressure you require me to apply during your massage.
What massage medium is used?
Grapeseed Oil is the medium that I provide and use. This has a low allergen risk. Grapeseed oil is a popular choice for massage due to its light texture and non-comedogenic properties, making it suitable for many skin types, including sensitive skin. However, if you have your own medium, that you wish to supply, please let me know in advance to ensure that I can work with it.
What other substances are used?
The couch (which will be covered with disposable paper roll) will be cleaned and then wiped with Barbicide before its use. This is a globally recognized, hospital-grade disinfectant concentrate. Please state prior to the visit if you know that you have an intolerance or allergy to it.
